Let $DE_M$ denote the restriction of the Vinogradov category $DE$ of partial differential equations to fibred manifolds over a fixed base manifold $M$. In this paper $DE_M$ is shown to be comonadic over the category of $\Bbb R^\infty$-modelled smooth fibred manifolds over $M$.
